Jacqueline Hansen is a veteran public relations, marketing and corporate communications specialist with more than 25 years of agency, and in-house experience serving clients across the globe. Six years ago, she founded her own New York-based public relations/marketing firm, specializing in media relations, crisis communications, marketing communications, and corporate communications serving clients primarily in the U.S. and Europe.
Prior to creating her own agency, she was the US Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations for Swiss International Air Lines, formerly Swissair where she headed up North American efforts years. During her tenure, she developed and delivered strategic internal and external communication during acquisitions, bankruptcies, and worldwide disasters.
Before joining the airline industry, Ms. Pash, a native New Yorker born in Manhattan, spent nearly 10 years working for New-York based global public relations agencies such as Hill & Knowlton, and Porter/Novelli where she built results-driven public relation campaigns for prestigious travel and consumer-product clients such as The Waldorf Astoria, Relais & Châteaux, Johnson & Johnson, the island of Bermuda, Prince Tennis, and others. Prior to this, she was a journalist on staff at U.S. daily newspapers and broadcast stations in Chicago, New York, and in the Southeast. During this time, she was the recipient of several Associated Press awards for investigative reporting and writing.
She holds a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, and was a former adjunct professor at New York University’s Graduate School of Travel and Tourism. At Molloy College, she is an adjunct professor teaching Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing Communications, and Writing. She is also a New York State certified elementary/high school educator, certified tennis instructor, and resides by the seashore with her husband, son, and yellow lab.
